Dia sempat dilarikan dengan menggunakan ambulan ke rumah sakit karena diduga gagal jantung. Namun dalam perjalanan bintang mega top dunia ini mengembuskan nafas terakhir .Hingga Jumat pagi ini WIB, masyarakat Amerika Serikat masih berkerumum di rumah sakit tempat Michael Jackson untuk sementara disemayamkan.
Sebelumnya ada rencana Jackson akan melakukan tur ke daratan Eropa. Bahkan dia tengah mempersiapkan tur tersebut.
Michael Jackson yang lahir 29 Agustus 1958 dan meninggal pada umur 50 di Gary, Indiana, Amerika Serikat sebagai penyanyi Genre Pop, R&B, rock, soul.
Dalam aksi panggungnya, dia selalu berpenampilan energik dan dengan gaya khas. Bahkan dia relah melakukan operasi plastik demi penampilan tersebut.
Dia memang lebih banyak menyanyikan lagu ciprtaan sendiri segalaigus sebagai produses. Dia juga menciptakan tarian khusus lagu-lagunya karena dia dikenal sebagai koreografer handal.
Raja Pop Dunia ini memang terkenal dengan tarian atau dansa moonwalk, atau berjalan di bulan tersebut menjadi ciri khasnya.
Sayang dalam masa akhir kariernya, Michael Jackson kurang bersinar. Bahkan dia sering kali tersangktu masalah hukum seperti melakukan hubungan seks dengan anak kecil.
Meski almbunya laris manis namun dia kahirnya tersngkut hutang yang cukup banyak karena konon perusahan propertinya hancur lebur. (binsar)
